She recommended a great Italian restaurant in town for dinner. The rooms are a good size and extremely clean with plenty of towels in the bathroom. They offer free breakfast in the morning. The other owner, Larry, cooked our eggs and there's a nice patio to sit outside and prepare for your day. I highly recommend this place. It was great!

Best choice I made. Trish saved 4 cabins and a hotel room for us. We were on a motorcycle ride got in late wasn’t able to enjoy all of the recreation games. We needed to go have dinner and drinks and Larry said he would drive us then pick us up when we were done Larry was our personal chauffeur when we got back he even got a bon fire going for us. What a wonderful and delightful man !!!! The cabins were amazingly nice, clean and I have never stayed where the sheets smelled so good !!!! Great nights sleep and Larry even cooked a fresh breakfast to order delicious!!!! When we come back thru Red Lodge ALPINE LODGE is the only place we will stay !!!! Planning another trip guys THANK YOU SO MUCH your hospitality it was amazing !!

Larry, the owner, serves up a great breakfast that comes w/ the room rental; I recommend the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich! A must stay in Red Lodge.

Then he looked into the bathroom, scoped out the kitchenette, and pronounced it acceptable. hahahaha. We really loved it. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was pretty good, and sitting in front of our door, we were able to watch deer come out for their dinner. I would stay here again. The only negative I can mention is that there doesn't seem to be any sound proofing. I could hear the door shut in the next room (at 130 am and 330 am), and I could hear their phone. If you are a light sleeper, bring good earplugs. I am a light sleeper, and did not bring earplugs. Grr.

My only hesitation in rating this property higher and my reluctance to book it again (we were part of a group on this trip, so the motel had been chosen by the organizers) is a 30 day cancellation period. This may be okay for some, but for me, my plans often change, and I have other hotel / motel options with shorter cancellation periods that work better for me.
